How to Send Message to a Local User in Windows Vista?

With the help of this tutorial you will be able to send a personal text message to a user who is logged on to your computer.

You can accomplish this in the following manner:

1) Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC keys to open Task Manager

OR

Right click on the Taskbar and choose Task Manager option

2) Now select the Process tab and click the button Show processes from all users

3) Now click the Users tab

4) In the Users tab select the user you want to send message to and click the Send Message button as highlighted above

5) Now type the desired message and click the OK button. The message will be sent to the user and will be displayed on his Desktop as shown in the Figure 1
